We will be pleased to see you at St Mary's where the church vestments, registers and other exhibits will be displayed. Craft items will be on sale. Enjoy a cup of tea or coffee.
This year we have spent a great deal of money repairing the west wall of the tower and have used up all the contingency funds for future projects or emergency repairs. It is intended to use Gift Day money to restock that fund to prepare us for the next major expense.
Flyers with collection envelopes are being distributed throughout the village: please use one of those envelopes for your donation. If you are a tax payer, you can gift-aid your donation provided you have paid enough income and/or capital gains tax to cover all your charitable donations: this will allow us to reclaim the tax you’ve paid, increasing the value of each £1 you give by 25p.
Thank you in anticipation of your support. If you are unable to visit the church on the day, please bring your envelope to the church at any time when it is open or contact us for more information. Details of church opening times and our regular service schedule may be found on the St Mary's homepage and our Services and Events page.
